Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be 3-year full-time graduates from one of the following programs:

Only candidates with a 2027 year of passing are eligible to apply.

Backlogs & Extended Education

One active backlog at the time of appearing for the TCS selection process is permitted.

Candidates must clear the backlog and complete the course within the duration stipulated by their university.

Candidates must have completed their course without any pending backlogs to be eligible to join TCS if selected.

Extended education will not be considered eligible.

Gap / Break in Education

Candidates must declare any gaps in education in the TCS application form.

The overall academic gap must not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification.

Relevant documentary proof may be required for declared education gaps.

Course Type

Only full-time courses will be considered.

Part-time and correspondence courses are not eligible.

Candidates who completed their secondary and/or senior secondary education through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible, provided their other courses are full-time.

Work Experience

This opportunity is for a Trainee Requirement.

Candidates with prior work experience can apply.

Any previous work experience must be mandatorily declared in the TCS application form.

Work Environment

Candidates must be comfortable working in a 24×7 work environment, including rotational night shifts depending on project requirements.

Step 1: Register on TCS Next Step

Visit the TCS Next Step Portal.

Click "Register Now".

Select the category "BPS".

Complete the Candidate Registration Form.

Generate your Reference ID.

Step 2: Enter Your Personal Details

Candidates must ensure that the following details match their Aadhaar card:

Name

Date of Birth

Verify all information carefully before submitting the form. Incorrect details may lead to disqualification.

Step 3: Apply for TCS BPS Hiring 2027

Existing TCS Next Step users:

Log in to the portal.

Complete the application form.

Click "Apply for Drive".

New users:

Click "Register Now".

Select "BPS" as the category.

Complete and submit the registration form.

Click "Apply for Drive".

Ensure that all information provided in the application is complete and accurate.

Step 4: Select Test Centre

Select "In-centre" as the test mode.

Choose your preferred test centre.

Click "Apply".

Important: Once selected, the test centre cannot be changed.

Step 5: Track Your Application

After applying:

Open "Track Your Application".

Verify that your application status shows "Applied for Drive".

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted in person.

Eligible candidates will receive the test schedule through the registered email address provided in their TCS application.

Candidates must carry applicable original documents, including:

10th marksheet

12th marksheet

Graduation marksheets for completed semesters

Other applicable documents requested by TCS
