Junior Data Engineer – Fujitsu — Job Update | Vishal Kushwaha

The role provides an opportunity to work with SQL, ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, cloud technologies, monitoring tools, incident management, and production support while working under the guidance of experienced data engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor scheduled data pipeline runs, job statuses, alerts, file arrivals, and data refresh activities.
• Perform first-level checks for failed jobs, missing files, incomplete data loads, and data mismatches.
• Create, update, and track incidents, service requests, tasks, and change requests using ServiceNow.
• Write basic SQL queries and perform data validation and source-to-target reconciliation.
• Validate job outputs and investigate basic pipeline or data-related issues.
• Collect logs, screenshots, error messages, and supporting information before escalation.
• Assist with runbooks, SOPs, operational checklists, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Support routine production monitoring, reporting, and operational activities under senior engineers.
