About the Role

Tech Mahindra is hiring Graduate Trainees for engineering roles across its Pune, Chennai, and Bengaluru development centers.

The role is suitable for fresh engineering graduates from Mechanical and EEE backgrounds who are interested in engineering design, manufacturing, electrical systems, testing, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.

Selected candidates may undergo classroom training, on-the-job training, or shadowing based on business requirements.

🔧 Mechanical Engineering Candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, products, and systems.
• Develop engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Analyze product performance and recommend design improvements.
• Support manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce production costs.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, and maintenance teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports.
• Evaluate new materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD tools such as:
  • SolidWorks
  • AutoCAD
  • CATIA
  • Creo
  • Siemens NX
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles.
• Understanding of GD&T, FEA, and engineering calculations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

⚡ EEE Candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics and layout drawings using CAD software.
• Select electrical components and materials based on project requirements.
• Perform calculations and simulations to analyze circuit performance.
• Build and test prototypes to validate electrical designs.
• Troubleshoot electrical design and performance issues.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry codes and safety standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and test procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
• Provide design and troubleshooting support for power systems.
• Work with medium-voltage AC distribution, DC systems, and protection systems.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following academic requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or EEE
• Minimum 60% or 6 CGPA without rounding off in:
  • 10th / SSC
  • 12th / HSC or Diploma
  • B.E./B.Tech
• Eligible graduation batches: 2024 and 2025
• Candidates must have no backlogs.
• Consolidated marksheet or Provisional Degree Certificate should be available at the time of offer.
• There should not be a gap of more than one year after SSC and before joining the graduate/post-graduate course.
• No loss of an academic year after joining a course.

Important: Rounding up marks to 60%/6 CGPA to meet the eligibility requirement is not valid.

📝 Selection Process

Candidates will progress through multiple assessment stages, with each stage acting as a filter for the next:

1. Aptitude Test
2. English Essay / Story Writing
3. Communication Test
4. Technical Interview
5. HR Interview

🏢 Location & Work Requirements

Selected candidates will work from the Tech Mahindra offices in Pune, Chennai, or Bengaluru.

Candidates should:

• Be comfortable working from office.
• Be flexible to work on different projects.
• Be open to deployment at Tech Mahindra development centers or client locations across India.
• Be flexible with different working shifts.
• Work according to business requirements and company working hours.

💰 Compensation & Probation

CTC: ₹3.25 LPA

Probation

• Selected candidates will be on 6 months of probation.
• During probation, candidates may receive:
  • Classroom training
  • On-the-job training
  • Shadowing
  • Unit-specific technical training

Training will depend on the requirements of the assigned business unit.

Service Agreement

Candidates who are selected will have to sign an ₹1 lakh indemnity bond with a mandatory 2-year service period from the date of joining.
