Forward Deployed Engineer Intern — Job Update | Vishal Kushwaha

As a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern, you will work across engineering, product, and customer delivery to deploy production-ready Voice AI agents.

You will understand customer workflows, design conversational experiences, build integrations, test live calls, and improve agent performance.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys writing code, working with users, and turning ambiguous problems into reliable technical solutions.

What You'll Do

Take Voice AI projects from discovery and prototyping through production deployment.

Build AI agents that communicate naturally, follow instructions, and complete real-world tasks.

Design prompts, conversation flows, tool calls, fallbacks, and guardrails.

Build integrations with:

CRMs

Scheduling tools

Databases

Enterprise applications

Third-party services

Work with telephony systems, call routing, transfers, webhooks, and real-time audio.

Test live calls and investigate issues involving latency, LLM behavior, and integrations.

Build customer demos and clearly communicate progress, risks, and blockers.

Identify recurring deployment patterns and turn them into reusable product capabilities.
