Overview

EY is seeking an Associate for the Global Delivery Services (GDS) team in Gurgaon. The role involves supporting the development and execution of compliance processes related to financial crime prevention. The Associate will be part of the GDS Central Financial Crime Team, responsible for executing financial crime prevention controls across the EY network.

Eligibility & Qualification

• 0-3 years work experience.
• Previous experience with Anti-Money Laundering, Economic and Trade Sanctions or Anti-Bribery and Corruption is an advantage.
• Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in English.
• Intermediate level of knowledge in MS Office.
• An awareness of recent global events linked to financial crime and economic and trade sanctions.
• An external qualification in financial crime prevention is an advantage but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research into clients using public and subscription services for identification and verification.
• Critically analyse due diligence information for ‘Know Your Client’ procedures.
• Perform screening on clients to identify Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons and Adverse Media.
• Perform a risk assessment of clients using gathered due diligence to form a risk profile.
• Liaise with client serving teams to convey requests clearly.
• Contribute to testing and validation of technology systems for financial crime prevention.
