💼 Role Overview

Deloitte's Valuation and Analytics Advisory team is looking for an AI Specialist to support audit objectives involving AI risk, governance, controls testing, financial analytics, and AI/ML model evaluation.

The role combines AI/ML, statistics, audit, risk, and governance, with exposure to AI agents, generative AI, model evaluation, and enterprise AI controls.

🤖 Key Responsibilities

AI Risk, Governance & Controls

• Identify and document how clients use AI, AI agents, intelligent automation, and agentic systems.
• Assist in evaluating AI model complexity, reliability, and performance.
• Apply statistical and quantitative methods to assess model inputs, outputs, assumptions, drift, and year-over-year changes.
• Support assessments using frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001.
• Prepare assessment reports, maturity scorecards, and remediation documentation.

🔍 Audit Response & Controls Testing

• Support evaluation of AI-related processes and controls.
• Assess human oversight and monitoring controls.
• Assist with controls testing covering AI governance, data inputs, and model outputs.
• Support substantive procedures involving AI-driven accounting estimates, automated journal entries, and AI-based reconciliations.

🤝 Communication & Collaboration

• Work with client teams across IT, risk, and business functions.
• Support workshops, status updates, and client deliverables.
• Explain AI/ML concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on developments in AI and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.
