Role Overview

HCLTech is looking for strong fresh graduates or candidates with 0–1 year of experience to work on production-ready Computer Vision pipelines for surveillance, industrial automation, and smart spaces.

The role focuses on developing, optimizing, automating, and integrating computer vision models into scalable platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize end-to-end computer vision pipelines.
  • Work on object detection, tracking, re-identification, segmentation, anomaly detection, and OCR.
  • Build automated training and evaluation pipelines (MLOps).
  • Optimize vision models for latency and throughput using TensorRT, OpenVINO, DeepStream, or ONNX Runtime.
  • Develop complex event-processing logic for reliable business insights.
  • Create tools for dataset management, annotation, quality checks, and synthetic data generation.
  • Troubleshoot vision performance issues across real-world conditions.
  • Document architectures, model interfaces, benchmarks, and deployment processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
  • Strong understanding of Computer Vision and image processing fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of OpenCV and NumPy.
  • Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow for vision applications.
  • Hands-on projects or internship experience with vision models.
  • Knowledge of CNN architectures such as ResNet, MobileNet, or EfficientNet.
  • Familiarity with YOLO, SSD, Faster R-CNN, tracking, or segmentation.
  • Understanding of video processing, codecs, containers, RTSP, HLS, and frame-level processing.
  • Knowledge of Git, unit testing, debugging, and software integration.
  • Understanding of metrics such as Precision, Recall, F1, mAP, IoU, MOTA, and FPS.
  • Ability to analyze CPU/GPU/RAM resource usage.

Education & Eligibility

Eligibility: Strong Tier-1 fresh graduates or candidates with 0–1 year of experience.

Relevant Background: Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or related technical disciplines.
