Overview

Accuris is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Developer to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. This full-time role is hybrid, allowing for both in-office and remote work. The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, test, and maintain software solutions.

Eligibility & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant development experience are encouraged to apply
• Equivalent practical experience supported by relevant projects may also be considered

Required Skills

• Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, application architecture, and software development life cycles
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Understanding of software testing, debugging, and code quality practices
• Exposure to web development frameworks, backend technologies, or modern application development tools (preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containers, or automated testing (preferred)
• Experience with academic, internship, or personal software development projects (preferred)
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications and product features under the guidance of senior developers
• Write clean, readable, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with established coding standards
• Assist in implementing application components, APIs, integrations, and backend or frontend functionality, depending on project requirements
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and development practices
• Write and execute unit tests and support integration and regression testing
• Identify, investigate, and resolve software defects with guidance from senior team members
• Assist in debugging application issues and documenting root causes and resolutions
• Contribute to improving application reliability, performance, and maintainability
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established development workflows
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, development frameworks, and industry best practices
• Learn and apply new programming languages, tools, and technologies as required by business needs
